Robert Weinman serves as the US Chief Risk Officer for TD Securities, bringing over 25 years of experience in financial services and capital markets. In this role, Robert oversees the consolidation of US risk functions for TD Securities, ensuring cohesive oversight, governance of the US risk framework, and the maintenance of a robust risk culture. This includes accountability, risk ownership, and control, supported by effective processes and sound infrastructure. Robert plays a leadership role in the accurate, complete, and objective assessment of all key risks within the US. Robert's leadership in risk management has helped TD navigate complex market conditions, mitigate potential risks, and capitalize on growth opportunities. Robert has been with TD since October 1999, initially starting in Toronto, Canada, and has been based in the US since 2009. He has held senior executive positions, including US Head of Market Risk and Global Head for Treasury in Risk Management, where he was responsible for Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book. In this capacity, he was tasked with bringing transparency to market and liquidity risks in TD's US Operations and TD Bank Group Robert holds a Master of Business Administration, a bachelor's degree in Finance, and both the Chartered Financial Analyst and Financial Risk Manager professional designations.
