Biography
Soojin oversees Treasury matters for ING’s Americas franchise, partnering closely with the regional management team and Group Treasury in Amsterdam. Soojin brings over 20 years of experience in finance and treasury across a range of institutions and international markets. Prior to joining ING, she spent 13 years at Citi in New York, where she held various leadership roles across Chief Investment Office, Balance Sheet Management, and Treasury Operations. Before that, she worked in Seoul, Korea with Standard Chartered Bank in its Finance and Strategy Group, and also served at the Financial Supervisory Service, Korea’s financial regulatory authority. Soojin holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and English Literature from Sogang University in Korea. Outside the office, Soojin enjoys spending time with her two wonderful children—both of whom play competitive soccer, keeping her proudly active in her role as a dedicated “soccer mom” on the sidelines.
