Tatiana Segal

Position: Managing Director, Global Head of Risk Management and Investment Oversight

Biography: Tatiana Segal is a Managing Director and a Global Head of Risk and Analysis at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, responsible for financial and non-financial risk management, performance attribution, and portfolio analysis across the division. She chairs the Investment Management Risk Committee and is a member of the Investment Management’s Operating Committee, as well as the Firm Risk Committee. Tatiana also serves on the boards for MSIM Ltd as well as Morgan Stanley Funds. Prior to joining MSIM in August of 2019, Tatiana was a partner and a Head of Risk Management at SkyBridge, a global alternative investment firm, where she was also a member of the Manager Selection, Portfolio Allocation and Real Estate Investment committees. Prior to joining SkyBridge in August of 2011, she was a Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer at Cerberus Capital Management, LLC. Before joining Cerberus, she was a Senior Risk Manager at Citigroup Alternative Investments, where she was responsible for an independent risk oversight of a multi-billion hedge fund and fund of funds portfolio. Mrs. Segal started her career at BlackRock Financial Management after graduating from Columbia University. Mrs. Segal is a Co-Chair of Risk PAG NY for 100 Women in Finance, as well as a contributing member of the council of The Directors and Chief Risk Officers (the DCRO). She is a Trustee Emeritus of the Tenement Museum and ISEF board member.
