- Ji Qin, CFA, is Head of Market Risk at HSBC Bank USA, where she oversees market risk across Markets (Global Equity, Global Macro, and Credit & Financing) and Banking portfolio management. Prior to joining HSBC, Ji led the Market Risk division at MUFG Securities America, with responsibility for both market risk and broker-dealer liquidity risk. Her experience also includes roles in fixed income trading and structured investment management at Commerzbank’s New York branch. Ji holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Beijing Polytechnic University. She also serves as Council Chair for the Global Market Risk Council at ProSight, a nonprofit organization formed through the merger of BAI and RMA.
